Every accomplished company has a vision. With over a decade of experience leading change across business operations, technology and London Market Insurance, I specialise in defining the initiatives required to make this a reality. I aim to achieve success with minimum friction and ensure things go smoothly. Challenges, risks and issues along the way are inevitable. However, I am here to anticipate these and solve or at least minimise their impact or exploit them where possible.
There will almost certainly be discord and open warfare without the control I bring as a consultant. I translate objectives into manageable pieces of work, prioritise them and build a performing team to execute. Sponsors entrust me with using the least amount of time, money and resource to ensure benefits from the strategy are realised. I am the best friend to the bottom line by getting to point B from A in the most efficient way.

A good project manager knows the theory and can sequence activities. A brilliant practitioner combines both theory and practical experience to become a visionary. In my 10+ years of successfully transforming environments, I approach each project with situational awareness and careful stakeholder management to inform the bigger picture. "If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail."
Instead of always taking the same approach regardless of the circumstance, I use my vast and varied toolset of skills to devise often better alternatives.
In the complex world of change I know that what worked yesterday may not necessarily work tomorrow. So I continually analyse my environment, am mindful of the culture and am attentive to the shifting sands around me. Clear communication is making sure that the idea in my head is the same idea in yours. I unite executives around a shared vision. I lead and galvanise teams to deliver benefits. And I use poignant storytelling to enable transformation and marry it with the company strategy. In doing this, I have ensured my projects flourish because of me, not in spite of me.
